Longtime tour pro Guy Eaker Sr. (pictured), Bassmaster Magazine writer and editor Dave Precht, outdoor writer Steve Price and American Bass Anglers president Morris Sheehan are among the 2017 inductees into the Legends of the Outdoors National Hall of Fame. That quartet and others will be honored at a banquet set for Aug. 26 in Nashville, Tenn.
Also at the banquet, Strike King Lures will receive the Outdoor Manufacturing Excellence Award and Larry Rea, editor of Mid-South Hunting and Fishing News and longtime outdoor sports writer for the Memphis Commercial Appeal, will receive the inaugural Wade Bourne Outdoor Communicator of the Year Award.
